Mrs Yvonne King-Odigboh has been appointed Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Following her appointment in October 2020 she took up appointment earlier this year in our mission based in London.

A retired Captain, Commanding Officer, from the first intake of females enlisted as cadets into the Sierra Leone Military Forces, she graduated from the Ghana Military Academy (GMA) with awards for outstanding performance in military law.

She pursued studies in the UK at the University of the Arts, London. Relocated to Dublin, Republic of Ireland where she did extensive research work. Undertook numerous technical and professional training courses in Management, Media Communications and Client Services. She is an expert facilities manager, Prince 2 Project Manager and Implementation Manager. Over 30 years management experience working for multi-national businesses in the City of London such as Merrill Corp – covering major accounts worldwide in the Banking, Telecommunications, Financial and Accountancy sectors for institutions like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte Touche, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Reuters, Standard & Poors, Telefonica SA and Deutsche Bank. Account Manager FPC Greenaway – Queen Mother account.

Client Service Office Manager & Account Manager with responsibility for managing team across Europe, EMEA and Asia Licensees. Account Lead for ASG Spark / ASG Worldwide leading creative design & media agency with offices in Australia, Singapore, UK, Ireland and Europe managing accounts and projects for leading film studios including Twentieth Century Fox, MGM Studios, Walt Disney Studios in the UK and several European territories, Paramount Studios Nordics, Warner Bros Nordics and in the UK. Project managing, implementation and on-boarding of new clients for Boots, Kimberley Clark, Netflix and Microsoft.

Married to Mr Celestine Odigboh (Nwannedimma II) and has 3 children.
